Pulp

The pulp of a tooth is the soft, innermost part of the tooth that contains blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. It is located inside the tooth, in the center of the dentin. The pulp is responsible for providing nutrients and sensation to the tooth. It also plays a role in the formation of the tooth during development. In simple terms, the pulp of a tooth is the living, inner part of the tooth that contains blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue and is responsible for the tooth's nutrition and sensation.
