Since Boston is so into it's sports teams, here are some tips on dental safety while playing hockey:
Always wear a mouthguard when engaging in contact sports to protect teeth and gums from potential injury.
Check that your mouthguard fits correctly and is comfortable before taking the ice.
Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing regularly to keep teeth and gums healthy before contact during gameplay.
Avoid chewing on anything or using tobacco products while playing hockey, as this can cause damage to teeth and gums.
Wear a helmet with full-face shield or cage for protection from stray pucks or sticks that could cause facial injuries, including damage to the teeth and jaw.
